Kjeragbolten—or “the pea”—is a 5-cubic-meter boulder wedged between rocks above a precipice at an altitude of 984 meters! It can be seen at the summit of Mount Kjerag in southern Norway.
Tourists love to get their thrills. Almost every one of them tries to climb onto this boulder to feel the rush of adrenaline. All it takes is a gust of wind, and you’ll be swept right into the gorge—after all, there are no safety harnesses here.
